Windows operating system
To change the system default language, close running applications, and use these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Click on Time & Language.
- Click on Language.
- Under the "Preferred languages" section, click the Add a language button.
- Type in "English" to filter all English languages then select "English (Australia)", then click on "Next".
- Make sure you select all the options including "Set as my Windows Display language", Click on Install.
- Windows will download the language package and restart computer.
Mac computers
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Language & Region.
- In General tab, on the left side Preferred languages field, check what languages you already have on this mac. If you don't have English, please click on the add "+" button down the bottom.
- Type in "English" or select "English (New Zealand)"
- Make sure the newly added "English" language is at the top of the list. You can drag it to top.
- Save and restart computer.
