Step 1 - Antivirus Scan

Ensure your antivirus is up-to-date (if you are using Windows defender, it should be).

Perform a quick scan

Windows defender > Task Bar > Right click on Windows defender shield > Run Quick Scan

Step 2- Malware Scan

Windows defender will detect most Malware. To be doubly sure on a compromised account, download and scan using MalwareBytes

Step 3 - Let us know that these steps have been completed

Email helpdesk@pinehurst.school.nz to let us know. We will provide the new password for the compromised account.

Step 4 - Reset Password

You will need to register for Self-Service Password Reset and will then be able to reset your password.
